About The Founders
Kaasni is led by the powerhouse creative duo Haani Omer and Hina Farooqui: Founders, designers, and creative directors who bring together decades of combined experience in fashion, film, art, and design. Their shared vision, refined aesthetic, and deep understanding of storytelling through clothing shapes every bespoke ensemble created at Kaasni.
Hani Omer
Co-Founder & Creative Director
With a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Haani brings strong technical expertise in garment construction, draping, and design. She has worked alongside seasoned designers and managed the image of A-list celebrities, shaping their identities through thoughtful styling and couture.
With over a decade in fashion and film, she has created iconic looks for feature films, commercials, and editorial shoots, balancing creativity with practicality and understanding exactly what it takes to execute a vision from sketch to screen. Her technical insight and deep understanding of fit & form lie at the heart of Kaasni’s made-to-order philosophy.
Hina Farooqui – Creative Director & Co-Founder
With a Bachelors degree in Fine Art, majoring in Miniature Painting, Hina’s formal training instilled in her a deep understanding for scale, proportion, colour, and composition; principles that define her approach to couture. Her background gives her an intuitive understanding of detail and intricacy, making her a perfectionist who celebrates the beauty of handwork and fine craftsmanship.
An experience of nearly two decades in the creative fields, Hina began working as a stylist & art director, and for the past 15 years works extensively as a production designer with Ace director Asim Raza for advertisements, short films, music videos, and feature films, creating beautiful worlds on screen. She has dressed and styled countless Pakistani and international celebrities, models and actors. This fusion of art, styling, and cinematic storytelling now informs the meticulous craftsmanship and thoughtful design language at Kaasni.

Both Hina and Haani share a long, intertwined relationship with fashion and filmmaking. Together, they have dressed some of the biggest names in the Pakistani and international industry and know what it truly means to make someone look and feel like a star.
Kaasni was born when the duo came together and decided to channel their shared passion, years of on-set experience, and technical mastery into a brand of their own. Bringing the grandeur of the screen to real life, their clients are their stars, each deserving of the same attention, glamour, and handcrafted artistry once reserved for film sets.
Being artists at their core, they have a profound understanding of the craft, its history, and the cultural legacy behind every stitch. Their aesthetic is not only shaped by their professional journeys but also deeply rooted in their heritage, passed down from their mothers and families who instilled in them an early appreciation for textiles, tradition, and the grace of handcrafted clothing.
